Developer Notes

This update contains a nerf to April and no other changes. After defense was fixed, it became apparent that April was giving out far too much defense, creating issues in Dimension Clash and Channel 6 Rush. We have previously stated that we want to avoid making changes to heroes in the middle of a season, and this is still true, but the level of disruption that April was causing to regular play was too great to leave unchanged for the remainder of the season. We plan to take a wider look at April’s skill set and the position of defense in the meta with the next season’s update, but this update is focused on removing the immediate disruption players have experienced in Clash and Channel 6 Rush.

Level 1+
Changed Targeting: April no longer gains alertness herself.
Reduced Effect: Give +100 alertness for 3 seconds. → Give +50 alertness for 3 seconds.

Level 2+
Reduced Effect: Inflict -200 alertness for 3 seconds. → Inflict -75 alertness for 3 seconds.

Level 1+
Removed Effect: After an enemy uses a skill, give 6 defense to all allies if the user is under 0 alertness.
Added Effect: After an enemy uses a skill, give 2 defense to all allies above 0 alertness.

Level 2
Reduced Effect: Inflict -2 armor and barrier for 30 seconds to all enemies if that ally is above 0 alertness. → Inflict -2 armor and barrier for 6 seconds to all enemies if that ally is above 30 alertness.
