Join a Clan or create your own to play with other players! To unlock Clans, you need to complete Mission 6-16 in Adventure and build the Clan Hall in your Lair.
Joining or Applying to a Clan
To Join a Clan, tap the Clans icon (
) in the Menu (
) or tap the Clan Hall when viewing your Lair (
).
If you are not already in a Clan, you will see a list of Clans you can join or apply to join. This list is populated with random guilds that are not full. Use the ‘Search…’ bar to look for a specific Clan that may not be listed. Clan information can help you decide if that Clan is the right fit for you.
- Clan Name
- Clan Level, the total Season/Battle Pass level of all members.
- Clan Power, the total Turtle Power of all members.
- # of members. Clans have a maximum of 20 members.
If the Clan is public, it is open to any member joining. Simply tap ‘Join’ to become a member.
If the Clan is private, there will be an ‘Apply’ button. Applying to a guild will inform the leaders or officers of that guild that you wish to join. From their Clan management screen, they will be able to view your Player Profile and decide if they will accept or reject your application.
Creating a Clan
In order to create a Clan, you must first build the Clan Hall in your Lair. You must also leave your current Clan if you are in one.
To Create a Clan, tap the Clans icon (
) in the Menu (
) or tap the Clan Hall when viewing your Lair (
). Tap on the ‘Create’ button and you will be prompted to name your new clan.
Clan names can be between 3 and 30 characters long. Clan names that are profane, vulgar, harassing, or otherwise offensive may be renamed or disbanded without warning.
Clan Level
Clan level is the Season Pass level of all members added together. As the level increases, your Clan will unlock boosts that benefit every member.
At the beginning of each season, Clan Levels reset to 0, as there is a new Season Pass each season.
Clan Ranks
There are 4 different ranks within a Clan. In ascending order:
- Apprentice - Basic clan members with no additional permissions.
- Disciple - This rank does not have additional permissions in the Clan, but is intended to help Clan Masters denote the difference between new recruits and veteran members.
- Ninja - This is an officer rank-- able to help manage the clan with permissions to accept or deny applications, change the Guild Message, and promote or kick other members of the Clan.
- Master - Leader of the Clan, each Clan can have only one. Leadership can be transferred by promoting a Ninja and confirming that you want to pass control to them. This cannot be undone!
Clan Management
- Clan Message - Clan Masters and Ninjas can update their clan’s message. Often used as a greeting or information board visible to all Clan members.
- Public Setting - Clans set to public will be open to anyone that wants to join.
- Private Setting - Clans set to private require an application and approval to join.
- Applications - Masters and Ninjas of private Clans can see the profiles of all applicants and can accept or reject the application.
- View Member - All Clan members can view the clan roster and tap a member’s name to view their player profile.
- Demote/Promote/Kick - Demote and Promote buttons can be used by Masters and Ninjas to manage the member ranks or remove someone from the Clan. Only Masters can Promote to or Demote from Ninja rank.
Clan Boosts
Clan Boosts are perks that everyone in the Clan benefits from, once unlocked.
Clan Boosts unlock automatically when a Clan reaches certain Clan Level Milestones such as "Ooze Production Speed Bonus: Unlocks at Clan Level 100."
Leaving a Clan
To leave a clan, tap on the Clan Settings button (
) while viewing your Clan, then tap the ‘Leave Clan’ button and confirm that you want to leave.
Inviting to a Clan
In public Clans, all members can invite others to join their Clan by tapping the Clan Settings button (
) while viewing the Clan. In Private Clans, Masters, Ninjas, and Disciples can send invites. Type in a player’s User ID, the number after their character name and found in their Player Profile, and tap Invite to send that player a Clan invite.
Replacing an Offline Clan Leader
If a clan leader has been offline for at least 14 days, any existing Ninja can contact us to request that they be promoted to replace the clan leader. Should the leader return to the game, the support team will not be able to offer any reversals-- it will be the players' responsibility to communicate with one another and sort out next steps.
