Every Hero has two (2) Roles. Roles are like classes: they describe the play style and fighting technique of the Hero.
The role on the left is the character’s primary role and has a larger impact on their skills and capabilities than the secondary role, which is shown below and to the right.

TankA sturdy character, good at surviving damage and protecting their allies. Tanks are the toughest characters, and they can also protect their allies with buffs or by disrupting enemies. |

BrawlerA character focused on dealing a lot of damage in melee. Brawlers are sturdy and are the best at dealing physical damage, especially to a single target. |

BlasterA character focused on dealing a lot of damage at range. Blasters have low health, but they are the best at dealing energy damage and for dealing damage to multiple enemies at once. |

SupportA character that aids their allies, improving their capabilities. Supports have low health, but they have powerful skills that can provide defense and buffs to their allies, or affect the entire field. |

TricksterA character that hinders their enemies, reducing their capabilities.Tricksters have low health, but they have disruptive skills which can stop enemies in their tracks or throw a wrench into their plans, across the entire field. |

SkirmisherA character with high mobility that excels at attacking enemies who thought they were safe. Skirmishers are relatively sturdy and have a balanced set of abilities that lets them deal and take damage while operating away from the rest of their team. |

SummonA temporary unit, summoned by character. |

MinionA character with few abilities, often attacking in large groups. |

BossA singularly powerful character, sometimes with extra abilities, Bosses can use the abilities of multiple other classes, and usually have increased resistances. |
